Welcome to Homeopathy In Balance. My name is Julie Arthey, and I am the founder of this practice. I am a classically trained Homeopath registered in Ontario, a Board-Certified Holistic Nutritionist with the designation of Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner from The Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals, as well as a Certified Nervous System Regulation Practitioner.

My professional journey began at the age of 19, following a diagnosis of chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia. Despite pursuing various allopathic treatments, I experienced limited improvement. Additionally, I lacked an understanding of nutrition specific to my needs and effective stress management strategies, which contributed to ongoing sleep disturbances. While I attempted to include regular exercise, its impact on my symptoms was inconsistent—sometimes beneficial, sometimes exacerbating.

In 2014, a serious car accident left me with injuries that kept me largely immobile and in pain for nearly two years. Recovery was long, exhausting, and at times incredibly disheartening. It wasn’t until five years later, when I began working with a Naturopath, that things started to shift. Through natural therapies, I slowly regained my mobility, energy, mental clarity—and most importantly, a sense of hope and purpose. That turning point changed everything for me, and it’s what inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others find their own way back to balance and vitality.
